SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS

You have grown your start-up into a standalone business. Maybe you have a few team members to help manage day-to-day operations. (Well done! That’s a huge deal.) But as the entrepreneurial dust settles and you transition from sole employee to team leader, you find yourself at a crossroads.

Like many small business owners, you wonder how to:

  • Lead your people well

  • Expand and scale your business

  • Navigate operational challenges

  • Establish repeatable systems & processes

  • Create and nurture company culture

You might have immediate concerns that feel like roadblocks or are simply anticipating how you can expand your business over the next five, ten, or twenty years. You love your company and want it to thrive, but as the head of a small team (between 2 and 200 people), you know you need a little extra support as you navigate the joys and pains of growth.

How does coaching help?

At Main Street Coaching, Ben works one on one with small business owners to offer customized support and accountability to keep your business moving forward. Each session is designed around you and your business’s unique needs, including (but not limited to):

  • Clarifying your business needs, goals, and vision

  • Developing a specific and measurable plan

  • Honing your people leadership skills

  • Navigating key issues and concerns

  • Staying on track with your short-term and long-term goals

In the coaching relationship, you’re the expert on you, your team, and your business. The coach is not going to tell you what to do but rather acts as a partner in your personal and professional development. You can expect a coach to listen actively, ask clarifying questions, offer feedback and encouragement, and help you stay on track with your goals. Typically, sessions last anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes, giving you ample time in between sessions to make progress or try out solutions.
