HOW IT WORKS

If you’re looking for a few more details about the coaching process here at MSC (including the fine print), you’ve come to the right place. Here, I’ll walk you through what you can expect, but keep in mind that each client is unique, so while the framework will remain the same, I often adjust process and packages for your needs. (You’re also welcome to reach out anytime at ben@mainstreetcoaching.com to ask a question.)

THE PROCESS

Discover

If you’re wondering whether coaching is right for you, I offer a free, one-time discovery session (in person or through Zoom). The purpose of this session is for us to determine whether partnering together is a good fit. I’ll hear more about you and how you’d like to grow as a leader or as a business, and you can gather more information about how leadership or business coaching can offer you accountability and support. From there, I’ll outline some coaching options, including suggested timeline, pricing, and contract options.

Design

Once we decide to move forward, the next phase is to customize a coaching plan that moves you closer to your goals. First, I will provide you with some personality assessment to help us both better understand how you see the world, run your business, or lead your team. In this phase, we will also:

  • Clarify your personal and professional goals

  • Develop benchmarks for measuring forward movement

  • Explore any pressing issues you’d like to tackle together

  • Outline topics and strategies we will cover in each coaching session

This phase provides a foundation for us to work together in the coach-client relationship.

Implement

Here is where we move from ideas into action. In this later stage of the coaching timeline, you can take what you’ve discovered in coaching and begin to practice the concepts within your business. Our coaching sessions will be focused more on assessment, accountability, and support as you make changes, lead your team, troubleshoot new issues, and track success.

THE FINE PRINT

Before entering into a coaching agreement, I want all MSC clients to have all the information they need to begin confidently:

  • Mindset: Coaching is a process, and growth takes time. To get to know each other, build trust, and see results, both coach and client need to be committed to that process and willing to put in the time and energy.

  • Frequency: The cadence will vary a little, depending the individual client’s needs. However, with most clients, I recommend meet once or twice a month, giving you time to digest our sessions and gain some momentum on any homework or action items.

  • Format: Each session (whether in person or on Zoom) is around 90 minutes, which lends plenty of time to dig in and walk away with clarity to keep you moving and growing.

  • Billing: During discovery, I’ll provide both coaching packages and per-session options. Package rates are paid in advance and offer a discounted per-session rate, but if you prefer to pay as you go, you will be invoiced monthly for the term of your contract.

  • Price: Each coaching package is customized base on the client’s needs. To get a quote, your best bet is to book a discovery session or email me at ben@mainstreetcoaching.com.
